Senior Meals Program offers a healthy, noontime meal Monday through Friday in locations throughout Butte, Yuba and Sutter counties. Occasional activities are provided before meals that offer the opportunity to meet new friends and socialize. A donation of $2.50 is suggested but no one is turned away if they can’t afford it, and low-cost transportation is provided in most areas. All seniors 60 years of age and older are eligible and have priority status. To ensure enough food is prepared each day, we recommend that participants make a reservation at one of the dining locations.
