The North State Food Bank operates two programs that both supply food and products to distribute in the North State. Food that is made available by the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program is distributed to qualified individuals each month at locations in Butte, Glenn, Plumas, Sierra and Colusa Counties to qualified individuals and families. This program is funded in part by the United States Department of Agriculture. “Tailgate Events” are also provided by Feeding America on a limited basis depending on need in the multiple counties it covers.
